No Door Prizes - The committee voted at a previous meeting not to have door prizes

DJ for Friday Night - Terri Poland is checking on this (Maybe she can report via email?)

Hotel Costs at Sam's Town - Scott has confirmed the price of $125 per room and found it is comparable to other casinos for the same room/time frame.

Photos at Reunion - Rather than providing cameras on the tables, we will ask folks to bring their own digital cameras that use memory cards and a self addressed stamped envelope. Vic (and friends) will copy the photos from their cards and then mail the cards back to their owners.

Inviting Teachers - We voted not to pay for teachers at the Reunion. Debbie Eason will coordinate finding and contacting the teachers but will need the help of other committee members and classmates. We want to invite the teachers to all of the activities.

Stimulus/Scholarships - We voted that folks who can't afford the cost of registration will be helped first by members of the committee that represent their class but if there is need for additional help, a sub-committee made up of Debbie Eason & Ammer Gayle Whatley will coordinate these requests.

Souvenir Cups - Debbie Eason is still looking into these.

Payments - While we've had a few registrations since our last meeting, there have been no payments. To date $500 has come through via Paypal. There was discussion about refunding money if someone finds they can't attend after making their payment. The group voted that refunds would be available up to May 18, 2010 which is also the date when the registration price goes up from $50.00 to $65.00.

Food Choices - Linda, Cindy and Sherry are working on the Food Choices.

Media Contacts - Contacts for Comcast, The Shreveport Times and local radio need to be made. We believe Lisa Winans is working on some of this. Linda Effinger talked to Larry Ryan and she will be contacting him about promoting the reunion on his station. Scott will be doing the same thing for KRMD.

Website - Beginning our next meeting, photos will be taken during the meeting and put on our website. Also classes are encouraged to send Vic photos from their reunions to be put on the website or linked from existing sites. Linda will be contacting Guy Caskey about helping with graphics for the website. Vic will be updating the website soon with Golf information (see next item), meeting notes and links to other resources like the Facebook page.

Golf - Golf will be played Saturday morning beginning at 8:00 at Crooked Hollow in Greenwood, LA. http://www.crookedhollow.com/ 8667 Elysian Fields Road Greenwood, Louisiana 71033 318-938-5060. Cost will be $40 and includes lunch.

Contacting Classmates - There was discussion that we are already behind if we want to send a postcard to every classmate with information/save-the-date. We agreed that each class will handle finding their own classmates and notify them about the reunion by whatever means they choose (Snail mail, e-mail, phone or personal visits). This must become a priority and we will begin reporting our progress at the next meeting.
